About Anna Thompson
The art of painting and creating is in Anna’s genes with a family heritage of horses, wheelwrighting, carriage building and painting. Anna mainly works with oils on canvas, which suits her vibrant, bold style giving her paintings a slightly contemporary, impressionist feel.
Surrounded by open countryside, Anna has no shortage of inspiration and is fortunate to have her studio based on the family farm in rural County Durham. Painting wildlife and scenes of life outdoors, Anna has an enviable portfolio of work adorning the walls of private collectors and organisations alike.
It seems a natural step, with Anna’s keen eye for colour and love of interior design to adapt her paintings into fabrics and homewares, all of which are proudly printed and made in England by time served craftsman with the ethos of producing quality collections that can take you seamlessly through the seasons with longevity in mind.
